AC Block

Equipment

Also known as: All-in-One BESS, Integrated Storage System, AC Container

An AC block is a self-contained energy storage unit that integrates battery modules, a Power Conversion System (PCS), BMS, thermal management, and fire suppression into a single enclosure. The output is AC power, meaning the unit can connect directly to a transformer or switchgear without a separate external PCS. AC blocks simplify system design and reduce on-site integration work, making them popular for C&I (commercial and industrial) applications and smaller utility-scale projects. They are available as containers or cabinets depending on the capacity and form factor.
