Advertising Terms

These terms apply to paid advertising on bessmanufacturers.com ("BESS Manufacturers", "we", "us"). By booking or paying for an advertising product, the company making the booking ("Advertiser", "you") agrees to these terms.

1. Products

• Featured Placement — a highlighted card for your company on the homepage and directory page, built from your existing manufacturer profile.
• Site Banner — a promotional bar shown at the top of every page on the site, with text and a link that you provide.
• Bundle — the Featured Placement and Site Banner together.

What each product includes and what it costs are listed on the advertising page. Placements appear on all language versions of the site.

2. Booking and payment

• Bookings are made by calendar month, up to 3 months at a time. They are one-off purchases and do not renew automatically.
• Prices are in US dollars. The price shown when you book is the price you pay for the months booked, even if listed prices change later.
• Booking 3 months at once earns a 15% discount.
• You book by sending us a booking request with the months you want. We confirm availability and send payment details by email.
• A booking is confirmed when we confirm it in writing. Payment is due on the terms stated in our confirmation.
• You do not need an account. We link your booking to your manufacturer profile on our side.
• Prices do not include taxes. If the law requires you to withhold tax from a payment, you must increase the payment so that we receive the full listed fee.

3. Placement period

A booked month runs from the first to the last day of that calendar month (UTC). If you book a month that has already started, your placement goes live within 2 business days of our booking confirmation. The fee for that month is not reduced for the days that have already passed, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

Each product can be sold to a limited number of advertisers in any given month. Months that are no longer available are marked as such in the booking calendar.

4. Advertising content

• The Featured Placement card uses information from your manufacturer profile on this site. Before your placement starts, you may send us an updated logo, company description or product information.
• You confirm that anything you send us, including logos, text and links, is accurate and lawful, and that you have the rights to use it. You also confirm it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
• For the booked period, you allow us to display your logo, name and any materials you send us as part of the placement.
• If someone makes a claim against us because of content you supplied, for example for trademark infringement or a false product claim, you cover the resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees.
• We may reject or ask you to change content that is misleading, unlawful, or not relevant to the energy storage industry, or that links to unsafe websites.

5. Editorial independence

Paid placements are labelled "Featured" or shown as a promotional banner. Advertising has no effect on:

• manufacturer profiles, specifications, financial or ESG data
• articles, comparisons or analysis
• the order or presentation of manufacturers in directory listings

Profiles are based on public filings and official company sources, and they remain so whether a company advertises or not. Any manufacturer can ask us to correct a factual error, free of charge.

6. Cancellations and refunds

• If you cancel a booked month at least 14 days before it starts, we will refund that month in full. If the month was part of a 3-month discounted booking, we refund the difference between what you paid and the undiscounted price of the months you keep.
• Months that have started, or that you cancel fewer than 14 days before they start, cannot be refunded.
• If we cannot deliver a placement for reasons within our control, we will offer you a pro-rata credit or refund for the days it did not run.

7. Performance

Traffic figures published on this site are estimates based on our analytics. We do not guarantee any particular number of visitors, impressions, clicks, leads or sales from an advertising placement.

8. Suspension and termination

If you seriously breach these terms, for example by supplying misleading or unlawful content that you do not correct after we ask, we may suspend or remove your placement. If we end a placement for any other reason, we will refund the months that have not yet run.

9. Liability

Our total liability to you in connection with an advertising booking is limited to the fees you paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for interruptions caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as hosting or network outages, cyberattacks, or government action. If such an event interrupts your placement for more than 2 days in a row, we will extend the placement by the same number of days or give you a credit for them.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any change applies to bookings made after the update date shown above and does not affect bookings that are already confirmed.
