Source: Tesla 2025 Impact Report, extended version. GHG intensity is Tesla's reported year-on-year change in manufacturing emissions per million dollars of revenue, not an absolute intensity figure. Scope 1 was 302,000 tCO2e and market-based Scope 2 was 755,000 tCO2e, for a combined 1.06 MtCO2e; Scope 3 was 56.4 MtCO2e. Waste recycled is 50,489 t hazardous plus 464,591 t non-hazardous out of 670,209 t generated in manufacturing. Tesla states a 100 percent recycling rate for lithium-ion batteries and manufacturing scrap, with more than 14,000 t of battery material recycled in 2025. CO2 avoided covers all Tesla products; the global Megapack fleet accounted for almost 470,000 tCO2e of it. Work-related fatalities were zero in 2025; Tesla reports injuries under ASTM E2920-26 at a Level One rate of 2.30. Tesla discloses no patent count, no R&D staff headcount and no MSCI ESG rating.
