DC blok je samostalna jedinica koja grupiše baterijske module, rekove, BMS i integrisano upravljanje temperaturom u celinu spremnu za rad na jednosmernoj struji. U utility-scale BESS sistemima, više DC blokova se povezuje na centralizovani ili string PCS (sistem za konverziju snage) koji pretvara jednosmernu struju u naizmeničnu struju kompatibilnu sa mrežom. Prilikom predselekcije za BESS projekat, ovo su ključne tehničke specifikacije koje EPC kompanije, razvijači projekata i integratori sistema obično evaluiraju:
C-rate
0,25C – 1C
C-rate određuje maksimalnu snagu punjenja/pražnjenja u odnosu na kapacitet. Viši C-rate (≥ 0,5C) omogućava kombinovanje prihoda; niži (0,25C) optimizuje sporije cikluse i manju degradaciju.
Energetski kapacitet
4 – 9+ MWh
Energetski kapacitet po DC bloku direktno utiče na površinu lokacije, složenost kabliranja i troškove. Veći blokovi smanjuju broj jedinica i BoP priključaka.
Hemija
LFP dominantna
LFP je standardna hemija za utility-scale DC blokove zbog bezbednosti i veka ciklusa. Neki proizvođači nude NMC varijante za primene gde je gustina energije presudna.

Koja je razlika između DC bloka i AC bloka?
DC blok isporučuje jednosmernu struju i mora biti povezan na eksterni PCS koji pretvara struju u naizmeničnu, kompatibilnu sa mrežom. AC blok integriše PCS i bateriju u jednu celinu i direktno isporučuje naizmeničnu struju. DC blokovi nude veću arhitekturnu fleksibilnost i preferiraju se za većinu utility-scale projekata, dok AC blokovi pojednostavljuju integraciju i češći su u manjim C&I primenama.
Zašto većina utility-scale BESS projekata koristi DC blokove?
DC blokovi omogućavaju razvijačima projekata i EPC kompanijama da nezavisno biraju dobavljača PCS-a i proizvođača baterija, i optimizuju arhitekturu sistema (centralizovana vs string) prilagođenu zahtevima svakog projekta. Ova modularnost poboljšava pregovaračku poziciju u nabavci, pojednostavljuje zamenu u slučaju garantnog zahteva i omogućava ekonomičnije proširenje kapaciteta tokom životnog veka projekta.
Koje sertifikate treba da ima DC blok?
Dva najčešće zahtevana sertifikata su UL 9540A (metoda ispitivanja širenja požara na nivou sistema) i IEC 62619 (bezbednosni zahtevi za industrijske litijum-jonske baterije). U zavisnosti od regiona i investitora, mogu se zahtevati dodatni standardi, kao što su UN 38.3 (transport), IEC 62477 (bezbednost opreme energetske elektronike), IP stepen zaštite i specifični zahtevi protivpožarne zaštite za projekat.
Kako kapacitet DC bloka utiče na troškove projekta?
Veći DC blokovi (npr. 5+ MWh po jedinici) smanjuju ukupan broj jedinica potrebnih za projekat, čime se smanjuje kabliranje, BoP i napor pri instalaciji. Međutim, veće jedinice zahtevaju teža dizalička sredstva za transport i postavljanje. Timovi za nabavku treba da uravnoteže veličinu DC bloka sa logistikom lokacije, zahtevima za temelje i strategijom proširenja kapaciteta.
